In this season of gratitude, we want to give our thanks to you, our local communities!
This year MCSC Women’s Business Centers is proud to hold our first Giving Tuesday campaign to raise funds that benefit our mission to raise the economic, educational, and social levels of aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners, with a focus on women and all underserved communities.
In 2024, MCSC WBCs assisted in the creation of 76 new businesses, 222 new jobs, and the retention of 8,216 jobs, provided 4,142 hours of one-on-one consulting services, 15,318 hours of training classes. Of the 2,148 clients we worked with, 80% were women, 41% were Hispanic, and 66% fell into the low-wealth category. Our clients increased sales by $2.9 million and received capital infusion of $3.9 million.
Recently we have seen an upswing in individuals turning to entrepreneurship to provide for themselves and their families and invite you to help give the gift of essential tools to start and grow a small business.
Thanks to the support of a core grant through the SBA, every gift to MCSC WBCs made will be matched 1:1. This means your support will have double the impact on your community members on the path of entrepreneurship!
