On May 31, MCSC graduated another class of smart, energetic entrepreneurs who successfully completed our 12-week self-employment training class. These dedicated students worked tirelessly to learn the process of starting their own businesses, including marketing, finances, legal structures, licensing, and writing a business plan.

The graduation ceremony featured keynote speaker Bettina Swigger, Executive Director at Festival Mozaic, San Luis Obispo, CA, as well as presentations from some of the students who introduced us to their future businesses.

MCSC would like to send out a special "Thank You" to America's Job Centers of CA, Cuesta College, PG&E, and Wells Fargo Bank for their support. We would also like to thank Start, Run & Grow Instructor, Rick Sample for his dedication to the class, and Clint Weirick for the Certificates of Recognition from Fiona Ma of California BOE. Without the support and commitment from these organizations and individuals, this class would not be possible.
